Tis the season for holiday videos and this one is no different. This World War I-themed ad depicting Christmas Eve 100 years ago, where both sides laid down their weapons in celebration of Christmas. It shows a spontaneous game of soccer both the German and British forces played before the reminder of war is brought upon them. The last scene shows a moving gift exchange with a beautiful holiday message.
The company who produced the commercial is Sainsbury’s, a superparket chain in the UK. The ad was posted less than a week ago and has gone viral.
