Free Bed and Breakfast Stay
B&Bs and Inns are providing free rooms on Sunday, November 11th to honor servicemen and women currently serving or who have previously served their country. The program was started in 2009 by the West Virginia B&B Association (formerly called MABB) and this year has expanded to include 48 states, 4 international locations and more than 700 Inns.
San Jacinto Museum of History
In honor of veterans and Veterans Day, admission to all venues of the museum – the theater for Texas Forever!! The Battle of San Jacinto; the Observation Floor, and the special exhibit Making a Mark, Leaving a Legacy – will be free for veterans and their accompanying family members for the week of Veterans Day, from Saturday, November 9 through Sunday, November 17.
