It’s something that happens much too often between married couples, but when it involves military personnel for some reason, it seems so much more egregious.
A post on a military page that touts itself as “Just for Fun” received a message in their inbox yesterday that has caused quite a commotion among followers.
‘Just the tip, of the spear 26- The Reckoning’ Facebook page (which has since been removed from Facebook) states that their site is for “veterans and active duty military having a place to be themselves. You know act like d*#ks and look at boobs and stuff.”
Yesterday they posted a video of a military veteran catching his wife cheating on him with a “Jody” — a term used in the military for a guy who cheats with someone else’s wife.
The veteran walks through the house very deliberately, and pauses for a brief moment on his way to the back of the house, it appears to acknowledge the child calling out to him. The little girl calling out “daddy” in the background, clearly very excited to see him home in the middle of the day.
When the man walks in on the two in the bathroom, the wife asks, “What are you doing here,” while she appears to be sitting on the toilet naked, and “Jody” leaning in close up to her mouth. At that point, the husband yells at the man to get out of his house.
The husband keeps yelling as the man—who apparently is active duty– runs quickly off the property.
“What’s your name and rank b*tch? Look at the camera,” the husband says. But the man never looks back and keeps running while the husband yells out to him, “Say goodbye to your f%#kin rank bitch!”
A recent post on the JTTOTS page appears to be a photo of the wife’s LinkedIn profile, and identifies her as a data network specialist Sergeant in the Marine Corps. It also says she has a criminal justice degree and lists her residence as Kailua, Hawaii.
Many of the Facebook comments streaming in over the last day — as one might imagine, in a sensitive situation like this with children involved—are extremely harsh and judgmental.
