A pint-sized athlete ran an obstacle course designed for the US Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton- and did so with a touch of style.

Once paralyzed from a cheerleading accident four years ago, 20-year-old Demi Bagby was told she may never walk again and was confined to a hospital bed for three months in her hometown of San Diego.

“I saw videos of people online doing CrossFit, and calisthenics, and all these fun kind of workouts, and I told myself if I was ever able to walk again that I’d be determined to live it every day, and just learn new things everyday,” she told Great Physiques.

Unable to move for three months, Bagby eventually rehabilitated and got into CrossFit, just like she promised herself.

In due time, the four-foot-eleven bundle of energy became a social media celebrity and a bodybuilder, making fitness a full-time affair.

Now, Bagby got to play on the “O”Course (obstacle course), which Marines have to endure in order to stay in top physical shape.

While Bagby didn’t complete the course as prescribed by US Marine standards, she certainly added her own flair to the event- much to the chagrin of some individuals.

Go back and redo!” one female Marine veteran wrote. “We definitely don’t run across the hurdles! You keep a low profile and literally hurdle over each one! Also Marines do this with gear on not a bra and yoga pants.”

Well, you can’t argue with that.

While Bagby certainly didn’t perform it to standard, it’s still kind of impressive when you consider the hurdles she endured to get this far.
