A man previously reported missing Sunday was found dead on Marine Corps base Quantico, according to officials.
The missing man has been identified as 48-year-old Kevin M. Tscherch. He had last been seen around noon as he left his Stafford home, according to reports.
Authorities report that Tscherch left his home voluntary and they believed he was in need of assistance heading towards Quantico base.
He was driving a 2006 Ford Explorer with North Carolina license plates: PDK-7986, according to the missings person report.
