It was a scene to behold, a father and son running into each other’s arms at Lindbergh Field in San Diego. It was the very first time they had ever met.
32-year-old Marine Logan Thompson’s mother had moved to Alaska when he was just 3 months old.
His father, John Fry flew in from Ohio to meet his son.
Thompson is stationed as an aviation mechanic at Miramar Air Station in Southern California.
