An Ohio community is desperately searching for answers after a local veteran disappears without a trace.
Family and friends are praying for the safe return of 33-year-old Tony Pastura, who was last seen on Monday.
Pastura has lots of ties to the community of Anderson Township – where he grew up and was a star football player before joining the Marines.
Loved ones say Tony was a great father to three children and he would never leave them.
An impromptu vigil took place outside his alma mater – where there’s a veteran’s memorial that includes Pastura’s best friend – who died in Afghanistan in 2005.
Pastura served multiple combat tours overseas and suffers from PTSD. “He’s had a lot of struggles with it,” says family friend Vicky Giesting. Police officials say he’s threatened suicide in the past, according to WCPO.
It’s believed that Pastura may be driving a dark blue, 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Ohio license plate “169YIE.” Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
