A Marine vet who deployed to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE wants to change minds about how Muslims are seen in the world.

“With the political climate we’re in right now and everything that’s going on, it felt like a no-brainer,” said Kevin Caulfield, who served four-years in the Marines.

“Honestly, since I was two-years-old, I wanted to be a Marine. I was like one of those kids my entire life I wanted to be a Marine,” he told a San Diego news station.

“I think the biggest thing when I went to the Middle East that I noticed was how similar we are,” said Caulfield.

Caulfied and his friends created a PTA called “Indistinguishable,” where two women are covered in black walking away from the camera.

The PSA ends with a quote that says, “We were all humans, until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us, and wealth classified us.”

“As you see the two women in the video,” explained Caulfield, “From the back, they look exactly the same. They’re indistinguishable and I think as humans we all can be indistinguishable in certain ways.”
