Marine returns from deployment to surprise family at Pirate Show

Marine Sgt. AJ Williams of Murrieta surprised his two kids at the Pirates Dinner Adventure show in Buena Park.

Sgt. Williams was deployed with the 11th MEU for seven months. The flagship of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group returned to San Diego on Monday after seven months at sea, capping a deployment that included landing Marine artillery in war-torn Syria.

Williams, dressed as a pirate, unveiled himself aboard the pirate ship to his daughter, 11, and son, 3.
