Marine pilot who was killed in crash near 29 Palms identified

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. (AP) — The Corps has named a pilot killed when his F/A-18C fighter jet crashed in the Southern California desert.

The say 36-year-old Maj. Richard of Arcadia, a Los Angeles suburb, was killed Friday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
