
A Marine military policeman stationed at Camp Lejeune has been arrested and charged with felonies, according to officials at the base.
Onslow County Detention Center records show that Corporal Steven Robertson has been charged with Soliciting a Child by Computer and Disseminating Obscenity.
Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) took the 23-year-old Corporal into custody Wednesday afternoon, according to WNCT.
After being transferred from NCIS to the Jacksonville Police Department, he was booked into Onslow County Detention Center.
Robertson joined the Marine Corps in August 2012 and is now assigned to the 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion, II MEF Headquarters Group.
Corporal Robertson is currently out on bond.
