A US Marine in San Diego is leaving a visible -and deadly- warning to the man who tried to break into his home while his sister was alone in the residence.
Marine veteran Beaux Englebert sprayed threatening messages on plywood boards before covering the windows of his single-story home, defensive measures taken to prevent the intruder from breaking in after the intruder had broken glass in an attempt to get in.
“COME BACK and I’ll FU**ING KILL YOU,” one board reads, with the other emblazoned with “A KILLER LIVES HERE, REDRUM.”
Englebert says the messages send a loud and clear message.
“I wanted to make sure that him and any other idiot around here knows that if you come here you will be taken care of,” Englebert told the local ABC-affiliate station. “Apparently a lot of my neighbors have seen that person a few times.”
The suspect reportedly kicked in the front window while Englebert’s 24-year-old sister was changing, creating a hole by the door before moving to another window. After the encounter, he was caught on a neighbor’s surveillance camera.
Englebert’s sister evaded contact with the predator by locking herself inside the garage until police arrived.
