The Marine had been dealing with fatigue for months on end, but chalked it up to the long commute for work. Finally after he struggled to catch his breath while lifting weights, Marine Staff Sgt. Mark Fayloga decided to see a doctor.

Fayloga, 30, was diagnosed with lymphoma just before Thanksgiving. He struggled with how to tell family and friends, so he decided to create the ‘F*ck Cancer’ series on YouTube, where he takes a dark and humorous look at his journey with cancer.

The Marine serves as a director of digital engagement for the United States Marine Corps, and has received an outpouring of support. His first video uploaded just two weeks ago takes a look at receiving his diagnosis and has already received almost 9,000 views.
