The US Marine Corps is desperate for intelligence and is offering big incentives for those in intel fields to stay in service.

The Corps currently offering large bonuses to the now-critical 0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence military occupational specialty, according to a recently released administrative message.

According to the MARADMIN, “Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) has categorized the 0211 MOS as a critical career force skill shortage.”

To keep 0211s in, the Corps is willing to offer a pretty hefty sum.

“The demand for qualified Marines to lateral move to this MOS will remain high for the foreseeable future,” the MARADMIN read.

Currently, the Marines are looking for Corporals and Sergeants with a GT score of at least 110, and will offer waivers to those who fell just short.

The notice went on to state that Staff Sergeants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

First-term sergeants who re-enlist for 72 months will be eligible for $87,500 as a bonus once they complete the MOS transfer to the 0211 MOS.
