A US Marine is facing homicide charges after a shooting that took place at “Off Base Bar” near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.

The shooting, which took place over the weekend, is reported to involve Corporal Jerry Wiltshirebeal, who is assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.

Another individual, Samuel Victor Perez, was also named as a suspect.

The duo were arrested in connection to the shooting of Kyle Delangel, who engaged in an argument with the two men outside of an off-base bar.

They are being held at San Diego Central Jail awaiting arraignment, according to NBC.

Delangel, who was reportedly struck by the pair’s vehicle, was later shot after he approached the vehicle’s driver side.

The Marine and his accomplice are reported to have fled after the shooting.
