A sorority girl who was allegedly shot and killed by a U.S. Marine on New Year’s Eve was sexually harassed by the Marine and members of a rap group before her death.

According to the Daily Mail, Sara Mutschlechner was at a New Year’s Eve party in Denton, Texas. She was driving home with friends when a black SUV carrying Marine Cpl. Eric Johnson and two members of the rap group “The Daytona Boyz,” pulled up beside her car.

After the SUV had pulled up next to Mutschlechner’s car, some of the men in the car started shouting that they wanted to have sex with the two girls in the car.

According to the police, one of Mutschlechner’s two male passengers told the men that their comments were inappropriate.

One of the men in the black SUV told Mutschlechner’s friend that he would “beat his ass,” while another said, “I’ll shoot your ass,” and showed off his handgun.

The police said none of the people in Mutschlechner’s car responded to the threats as she drove off.

As Mutschlechner was driving off, shots were fired from the SUV and she was hit in the head.

Mutschlechner immediately lost control of her car and crashed into an electric pole. She was rushed to a hospital and treated for her wounds, but she died a few hours later.

According to the police, at least two of the men in the SUV were at the party Mutschlechner and her friends attended, but they did not interact with each other until they pulled up to her car.

Corporal Eric Johnson, who is assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1, was arrested by U.S. Marshalls at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, where he was stationed.

Johnson had been stationed in Yuma, Arizona since 2013, and it is unclear if he was on holiday leave at the time of the shooting.

He will remain in the Yuma County Jail until he is extradited to Texas.

Brice Riddell, 20, who had dated Sara Mutschlechner since mid-summer, was at the party but left an hour before the incident.

“It’s just crazy to imagine how everything can just be gone in a moment,” Riddell said. “I’m just really relieved that they’ve finally found somebody who’s directly related to what happened. She was such a sweet, sweet girl.”

Johnson’s stepfather, Darryl Joseph, was shocked when he heard the news of Johnson’s arrest.

“Eric’s a great kid. He’s never had no problems,” Joseph said.
