A US Marine veteran in Alabama is making headlines after fatally shooting an armed robber.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported that the unnamed US Marine retiree found himself in a tough situation on Monday night, when convicted sex offender James Henry stuck up a convenience store in Ardmore.
The veteran gave Henry multiple chances to drop his weapon, but opened fire once the 53-year-old sex offender turned his gun on him.
According to WAFF, the Marine veteran was legally armed and has been lauded by the LCSO.
No innocent victims or bystanders were reported injured in the shooting.
While the incident remains under investigation, no arrests have been made.
