Troop Transition Programs for Military Personnel
Troops 2 Energy:
An industry leading renewable energy industry preparation and certification program. We provide on-base green jobs training for active duty servicemen and women seeking a career in the lucrative renewable energy industry. Our students graduate with a broad knowledge and awareness of working in the green energy field.
The T2E (Troops 2 Energy) course includes 8 weeks of classroom instruction and two weekends of hands on practical applications relating to the Photovoltaic and Wind industry. T2E Graduates receive a Green Energy certificate and credentials in multiple disciples including:

Once you complete the course our placement personnel will work with our employers and renewable energy industry partners to line up the perfect wind energy and solar energy job for you. T2E works with many top renewable industry companies who understand the needs of transitioning servicemen and women. T2E works in partnership with industry leaders who understand the needs of transitioning servicemen and women. Graduates are awarded first priority in the hiring process of these companies, where your military experience and T2E training are recognized and rewarded!
Troops 2 Truckers:
An on-base training program that trains service members for a career in the transportation and logistics industry. Marines will earn their Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements (doubles, triples, hazmat, and tanker). We can help with all your paperwork, ensuring full Tuition Assistance, and get you signed up for a convenient course to get
your trucking job training.
The T2T program includes a two-week classroom course and up to 12 weeks of driving instruction prior to EAS. Motivated students can complete the entire program in less than 12 weeks and be on the road to a great driving job. Once you complete the course, our placement personnel will work with our Charter Employers and trucking industry partners to line up the perfect truck driving job for you. T2T works with many top trucking industry companies who understand the needs of transitioning servicemen and women. Our partners will also credit you one year military driver experience for
completing the course, so no current experience is needed!
T2T’s program eliminates post-service uncertainty – you can be trained, licensed, and employed prior to your EAS. The main difference between T2T and a truck driving school is our output – we deliver job – trucking schools deliver diplomas.
Troops 2 Teachers:
Troops to Teachers (TTT) provides Counseling and Referral services to military personnel interested in beginning a second career in public education as a teacher. The DANTES Troops to Teachers office will help applicants identify teacher certification requirements, programs leading to certification and employment opportunities.
