Obscene sky writing

Some people are upset with the recent contrail pattern they say is obscene that was left in the sky by Navy aircraft in Okanogan County, Washington.

KREM 2 News spoke with Navy officials who released a statement, “The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable.”

Aircraft from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island were involved in what some consider to be obscene skywritings, many whom believe it represents male genitalia.

One of those complainants who submitted pictures to KREM2 was upset by having to possibly explain what the drawings were to her young children.

The news station reached out to the FAA for a statement. “FAA officials said unless the act poses a safety risk, there is nothing they can do about. The official said they “cannot police morality,” according to the news source.

  1. Tell the one lady around us to STFU!! We love our military and their awesome skills….write anything you want over us!! Oh for the lady wondering what she is going to tell her poor little children. Simple to idiot….it takes one of those to make one of you…and one of those to keep your little but safe!!

  2. Oh, come on… This is skillful flying. Leave the guy alone, if you only knew how hard is to picture a 3D pattern and fly that pattern with this precision you wouldn’t be complaining…

  3. Hope the navy isn’t too hard-on these fellas. The skill and discipline to erect such images is awe inspiring. Maybe the people on the ground shouldn’t be so stiff.

  4. With my editor hat flush-riveted to my cranium: please take note: “Navy” is singular and “Their” is plural. By rights the headline should be “Navy admits ITS pilots…”

  5. What is immoral about anatomy? You can find breasts, vaginas, and penises in art museums; this absolutely looks like temporary art. There’s far worse in graffiti.
God forbid someone teach their children about human sexuality. Twelve-year olds in Africa typically know more about where babies come from than 18-year olds in the USA.
God forbid someone enjoy their job. This pilot is demonstrating precision control over his machine, exercising the limits of his body under g-loading, and doing so in a safe manner.
American citizens have paid for this pilot to be trained to kill our enemies and destroy their property. We’re worrying about a penis-shaped contrail? I think our society’s focus on reality is suffering ADHD.
If this aviator receives an Article 15/Captain’s Mast, I hope he frames it at his desk as a reminder of how Anerica’s prudishness supersedes his 1st Amendment right to expression, his responsibility to keep his war fighting skills honed, and his abilities to wield instruments of (not just condoned, but commanded) death and destruction.

People need to get a grip.

  6. Obviously this was what on this woman’s mind! Geez get the hell over yourself! If this is all you have to worry about something is wrong! The kids probably already know what it is!

  7. Only in America !! The most producing country of porn raising hell about this. Trufully – unless you have a dirty mind none of you could even see this looked like a penis. Classical stupid case blown mile high and out of its proportions. So the pilots had som fun – BIG fu….ing deal! They are skillfull and cool and protect your sorry asses.
