“We have been serving military families for over 14 years, by providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy for special needs children. We are located in San Diego and we are Tricare providers. This means that military families do not have to pay out of pocket in order to provide their children with therapy in order for them to live successful and independents lives. I have met with many military families who have been paying out of pocket for these services, sometimes as much as $500/week.
A little bit about our company, we are comprehensive treatment center for special needs children, providing PT, OT and speech therapy. But something you may not know is that Kara Dodds, our speech pathologist, has developed In Harmony, an integrated learning program with speech and music therapy. She has also written a speech therapy screening process that is currently being taught at SJSU, Hawaii and in Poland. Additionally, Addie is a mother of a special needs child and understands how difficult it is to be a parent of a special needs child and created the AutismFITT Club in order to help parents get their children the therapy they need to be independent but also help them understand more about their child and their needs, as she walks in their shoes every single day. My company is an advocate for parents and helps our parents with their children’s IEPs.”
Kara Dodds Speech Therapy Center was established in 2001 and has merged with Addie’s AutismFITT Club to provide occupational, physical and speech therapy for your child or loved one. It has family-friendly centers located in San Diego and Encinitas, California.
We provide the highest level of individual speech therapy services for children with our highly specialized team of certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who only use the most up to date, research proven therapy methods for communication challenges including but not limited to:
- Language delays and “Late Talkers”
- Developmental Issues (e.g. Syndromes / Autism Spectrum Disorder / Pervasive Development Disorder (PDD-NOS), Oral Motor issues and/or Apraxia of Speech
