About 60 teachers from the Charleston, W.Va. and Detroit area Marine recruiting station areas took a trip to Parris Island from April 5 through 8. The trip allowed educators a chance to see what life is like for the thousands of Marine recruits that come through the Marine Corps Recruit Depot each year.
