We had so much fun broadcasting our first live radio show, Semper Feisty Radio! Did you get a chance to tune in today? We discussed,

  • The First Lady of the Marine Corps and her Recommended Reading List. We originally had Patrick O’Donnell scheduled for the show, but unfortunately he became sick and had to cancel this morning. We’re looking forward to having him back on the show sometime this month.
  • The Marine Corps Marathon that took place on Sunday and the role that the Semper Fi Fund played.
  • The nutrition books on Mrs. Amos Reading List and Robyn Lawley as the new Ralph Lauren size 12 plus size model.

Please join Jackie in raising money for the Semper Fi Fund as she prepares to run in the Quantico Turkey Trot on November 17th. She has thrown down the gauntlet and issued a challenge to our listeners to help her raise $250+ for the Semper Fi Fund. If she meets her goal, she will run the Turkey Trot dressed as a turkey, so please dig in and help support the Semper Fi Fund in a really fun way. Of course, we will post pictures at a future broadcast, so you won’t miss out on the fun.

Next Week’s Show

We will have Holly Scherer, author of Help, I’m a Military Spouse — I Get a Life Too and co-author of 1001 Things to Love About Military Life on the show next Thursday. She is an awarded community leader and military spouse of 27 years. We’ll also be discussing the discussing the Marine Corps Ball. You won’t want to miss it!

Our regularly scheduled shows air weekly, Thursdays at 10:30am Pacific Time. (11:30am Western, 12:30pm Central, 1:30pm Eastern). We had so much fun interacting with all of you who called into the show!

If you missed it, you can always catch the latest show here. I enjoy listening to podcasts and getting organized in the house. I get my laptop cued up, turn up the volume and spend about 20 minutes in each of the rooms putting away the laundry and doing general clean up.

How do you listen to podcasts?
