Exchange: This base has a great exchange for shopping and it’s huge!
Home Store: There’s a really nice home store on this base with a great selection of indoor and outdoor needs. During the holidays, this is the place to stock on your Christmas or holiday decor.
Cellar: There’s a fantastic wine cellar here on this base. Part of the reason why is because one of the most concentrated areas housing admirals are on the island of Coronado and many senior staff retire out in San Diego. There’s a huge calling for wine and they don’t disappoint. They’ve got a great selection and can special order things for you.
Marina: The marina offers boat and small item storage, guest slips, boat instruction including sailing and motor boat, and picnic rentals. Check out the website for more information. They have equipment for rent: Boston Whaler Boats, Elington Surfboards, Coral Snorkeling Gear, Horseshoes, Catalina Sailboats, Mistral Sailboards, Old Town Canoes, Fishing Rod and Reels, Ocean Kayaks, Body Glove Wetsuits, and Volleyballs. The following gear/areas are available as well: 24-hour security, Launch ramp, Bait & tackle, Ice, Dry storage, Electric hook up, Fresh water, Showers, Workshop, Meeting rooms and Club house, Sand Volleyball court, Tennis & basketball courts, Horseshoe pits, Playground, Picnic areas with BBQ’s.
Fitness Centers: Offering workout facilities, racquetball courts, and open swimming hours at the pool.
Bay View Restaurant: The old Officer’s Club has been turned into this great little place. They offer lunch Tuesday thru Friday from 11:00am-1:30pm. Breakfast is available on graduation day (Thursdays) from 6:30am-9:00am and a late lunch from 2:00-5:00pm. Breakfast is also available the day after graduation (Fridays) from 6:30-9:00am.
Locker Room Bar & Grille: Sports bar atmosphere with pizza, burgers and fries, and wings.
Food Court: Villa Pizza, A&W All American Food, Stars and Stripes Deli, and the Mongolian Barbeque.
