How are the schools at Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay Hawaii? (any reviews are completely independent from the School Liaison Officer Office)

Kaneohe Bay’s Schools are in the Winward School District. Checklist for K-12 departure and arrival information.

You will often hear that Hawaii does not have great schools. Here is a philosophy…you have excellent teachers at “bad/poor” schools and you have horrible teachers at “great” schools. You can send your child to any school within the Windward District as long as you provide transportation and get a GE (Geographic Exception) form from the school. You have to do research and see where you feel comfortable. Bottom line I would like to dispel the myth that “Hawaii schools are awful!”
